It's been almost 8 years since popular shoujo anime, brothers conflict, was released. And there are yet no announcement about the renewal of the series. Fansa re eagerly waiting to see more of this amazing anime.So what happened to the series ? What are the chances of getting a season 2 ?



Brothers Conflict, or BroCon in short, is a novel series created by Atsuko Kanase and Takeshi Mizuno. It ran from 2010 to 2012 publishing total of 7 volumes. The series got its first PlayStation game, Passion pink,  and a manga adaptation in 2012. The games was pretty successful and manga ran for a year finishing with 2 volumes. Due to success of the series, brothers conflict returned for an another novel series called season 2 in 2013. It is still continuing and has 5 volumes published. 

In summer of 2013 series finally got its anime adaptation followed by its second PlayStation game brilliant blue in September 2013. Series got is third and latest game in 2016. 

Story follows ema hinata, who has to live with her 13 seto brothers , after her dad re marries to miwa asahina. Eventually all 13 of them starts to develop feelings for her and try to impress her. Ema is finds herself in hard situation as she wants them to be happy and doesn't want to pick any one from them.

Anime's first season had 12 episodes and it later got two O.V.A episodes 2014, both produced by studio brains base. We know that many times series get its anime adaptation to promote the novel or the game based on the series. As we can see that first season and O.V.A  was aimed to promote secomd season brilliant blue. 

And as there is no more game incoming chances of a renewal seems unlikely as of now, but looking at the success the series got overall it won't be a surprise if any production company decides to make another season of anime. 

Considering all 3 games and light novel series there is surely enough source material for a second season.And like many old  series that made their comebacks recently, we might also get more announcement regarding series in future, So there is still little hope.
