It's been 3 years since the first season of anime Prison School was aired . The anime was very popular within its fandom and fans were very excited for the next season. Even at Ending of of the first season, they teased the possibility of second season. So what happened to season 2 ? and what are the possibilities ?
About The Series :
Prison School is manga series written and illustrated by Akira Hiramoto , it Started Serialisation in February 2011 and ran for 7 years . It's last volume 28th volume was released on December of 2017.
The Story revolves around 5 boys who got admission into prestigious private academy , which was an all girls school till last year . All boys were expecting a fun harem life in this school , but for their misery they are punished by underground student council and forced to live a prison life.
What And When To Expect Season 2:
Season one had 12 episodes and it covers the story upto the 9th volume of the manga, which lefts us with more than enough material for the next season. At the end of the first season all 5 boys were released from the prison , and now it was students councils turn to pay for their deeds as new council is being formed. Season 2 almost seems like a necessity now as the story ended on cliffhanger and many interesting plots are yet to come . Nevertheless it's highly possible that we will get the second season of the anime considering its popularity.
