The mini crossover series Isekai Quartet is getting another season. It was announced at the end of the 12th episode of the second season ,and also by the official Twitter account of the anime. 3rd season is already said to be in production and expected to return in near future.
About the Series :
The anime is crossover between 4 isekai anime Overlord, KonoSub, Re:Zero and Youjo Senki with chibi art style. One day suddenly a mysterious button appears in front of the main characters from these anime , transporting them to another world where they all are made to attend a same classroom, and their school adventure begins as our favourite characters interacts with each other .
First season was relased in April 2019 and second in jan 2020 both having 12 episodes . Season one had only characters from the main 4 animes while second season had guest appearances from other isekai animes like 'The Rising of the Shield Hero' and 'Cautious Hero'.
What and When to Expect From Season 3 :
Just like Season 2 we can expect more guest appearances in season 3 . Characters from 'Bofuri' and 'So I'm A spider , So what ?' are already speculate to make their appearance in this . More isekai anime are yet to be released in 2020 some of which might also get a chance at it.
As far as the Release Date nothing is announced ,but looking at the previous two seasons we can expect it to air in first half of the 2021. We will be updating the this article as more information is available. Stay Tuned !
